I would like to start this out by thanking Coach and John Sparks. They took myself and 3 other co-workers out on the lake. WE had a great time!! I just wanted to add that we had a thing going where we caught fish at every spot that we fished, and on every lure that we tied on the line. Amazing in postfrontal conditions. I would also like to say that if anyone knows of guys like myself that don't have the resources to go fishing should look Coach or John up and take a trip with them. They will have access to top of the line equipment and knowledge...Well worth the minimal price... If you want to see the face of one satisfied customer just look at the recent pics posted on Coaches web site. I am the one with the crazy grin holding a very nice Fayette county bass.

My wife and kids treated me to an all day guided fishing trip on my favorite lake, Fayette County, last Wednesday. The guide, Mr. Bill Speer. Talk about a class act. I can't wait until I go back to try some of the stuff I learned Wednesday. I recommend Bill to any fisherman of any level.

Stayed on fish all day. Bill is a truly fishing coach, not just a former coach who fishes. He unselfishly shared his knowledge of fishing and of the lake to make me a better fishermen. I learned a lot. Looking forward to doing it again at a different time of year.

I met you at the Houston Boat Show yesterday. I found your seminar to be very informative. I have fished Fayette a couple of times and had mixed results.

I mainly fish saltwater, but enjoy fishing at Fayette. Being new to freshwater fishing can be a little overwhelming, but I look forward to learning from your site.

I'd like to thank Bill for the assistance and advice he provided to my father and I this past week. I had flown my 83 year old father down from Philadelphia for a week on Fayette. Tuesday morning I saw Bill preparing to launch at Oak Thicket and went over and introduced myself. Bill was very pleasant, and when I mentioned we were catching a lot of short fish, he made suggestions of a couple places to try.

Later that morning he saw us out on the lake and idled over to chat for about 10 minutes, and also gave us a couple more suggestions.

Bill's advice helped us put more fish, (and better quality) in the boat. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a guide at Fayette.

Bill, it was a pleasure meeting you! Thanks for the help! I put my parents on the plane back to the east coast this morning, and I know my Dad left with some great memories of our week on Fayette.

Thanks again for the informative trip! We learned a lot about the lake and how to fish the spots we visited. It was one of my best days fishing this year...we were finally able to experience one of those 30+ fish days. WOW, what a quality bite we had!

Bill, Thanks for a great time Tuesday. I usually get a fee from those who use pictures of me – being that I’m so good looking and all – but I’ll waive it this time.... Upon reflection, I have to say, you are quite a fascinating fishing guide. Far more educated than 99% of the population, I found myself mesmerized with your depth of knowledge on most anything…particularly fish. You take the process to a whole new level, which is how I like to do things. My wife calls it obsession but I think it’s simply passion. I very much appreciate your passion for the sport – there is so much more to it than catching fish. I hope to teach my son what it really means – which is indescribable.

Just saw the pictures on your web site. Just wanted to tell you again how much Frank and I enjoyed this day. We picked up a lot on where to fish and just getting around on the lake. Hope to see you there sometime and again thanks.

Since our trip on July 14, my dad and I have been dying to put our boat in the water and go fishing, we are so excited that we got to go fishing with you and learn so much about fishing and lake Fayette.

Would like to take a moment out to thank you, for taking my 2 sons fishing. (Michael and Daniel). Looks like they had one heck of time and learned a lot! We have not had many opportunities to fish the past couple years up here in MI. Not that the desire isn't still there. Busy with work and school, but some of that is coming to a rest and we hope to be back on the water within a couple of weeks! seeing these nice pictures you took valuable time out of your schedule to make happen and the fishing trip makes me very hungry to get back out there and catch and eat some nice fresh fish! Thanks a MILLION to you and their uncle John!

Well, needless to say, Cody and I had a great time too. He talked about the trip all weekend. He kept saying how much he learned by listening to you talk about why the fish do what they do. We checked your website at about 7pm on Saturday and they were already up. Great job! Great pics too.

No complaints at all about the number of fish, I’m sure our boat would have placed well in a tourney for the day, and would have placed 1^st if there was a category for the best time. Rozanna and I are very proud of Matt and Jessica we have been greatly blessed with our children. I want to thank you for the time you spent teaching Matthew. Matthew spent most of the night sending links to your site to all of his buddies and to my family, he is very proud. Thanks.
