What Equipment do you provide?

I will provide rods and reels if necessary.  See the WAIVER for further information.

I also provide life jackets and insist that they be worn when we are moving.

All baits are provided if necessary. You are welcome to bring your own.

I do carry extra rain gear but I recommend you bring your own as sizes may vary.

I do NOT supply food or drinks. (no alcohol please)

Do you fish on the trip?

Yes I do but only when necessary to locate fish or  determine fishing patterns. I do not try to front end clients and indeed you are welcome to fish the front deck with me.

Do you practice catch and release?

Yes, the slot is 14-24 inches on Fayette.  If you wish to keep one over 24 that is fine. If you want to keep 5 under 14 that is fine.

Are you a Tournament Fisherman?

Yes, but not on Fayette. I will put you on my best fish, not simply my guide fish.

Where do we meet and how do I get there?

If you live in the general Houston area, we can meet at the outside parking lot at Bass Pro Shops at Katy Mills and ride to the lake together (for an additional $25).

Or

I will meet you at the Oak Thicket Ramp at the lake.  It is the first ramp out of Fayetteville.

You will easily recognize me. I have a Maroon Suburban and a Champion boat with a red cover.  On the side of my suburban is my logo and name.

If we are meeting at the lake, I will be in the water before you get there and beached next to the ramp.
